   Welcome to Stockholm, where city life unfolds across a network of islands and waterways. As arrival times vary, there are no scheduled experiences through the afternoon. Take time to walk, settle in, and get your bearings. As evening arrives, meet your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner and your first shared taste of Sweden.

3. Stockholm

   This morning, walk Stockholm with a local guide who brings the city into focus during an immersive three-hour tour. Along the way, pause for fika and take part in this Swedish coffee break tradition. The rest of the day is yours for exploration. Continue into neighborhoods, museums, or galleries at your own pace, from the Vasa Museum to Fotografiska or the ABBA Museum.

4. Stockholm - Luleå

   It’s time to say hej då to Stockholm and fly north to Luleå, the gateway to Swedish Lapland. Upon arrival, experience Nordic hospitality inside a traditional Sámi lavvu. Inside this tent, your host shares stories of Arctic life in the wilderness as you enjoy a slice of Sámi cake. Later, settle in and take time to explore this coastal city, perhaps along the harbor.

5. Luleå

   This morning, explore Luleå on foot with a local guide who brings everyday life in Swedish Lapland into focus, where long-held traditions meet the rhythms of today. Just beyond the city, visit Gammelstad Church Town, where rows of red cottages circle a historic stone church. Hear how worshippers once journeyed here from afar to gather. Sit down for lunch at a cozy local restaurant in the village. Later, return to Luleå, where your evening is free to explore in your own way.

6. Luleå - Kukkolankoski - Rovaniemi, Finland

   Travel north toward the Arctic Circle, crossing into Finnish Lapland. Continue to Kukkolankoski, where locals still work the river using techniques passed down through generations. See the fishing installations lining the banks, then step inside a kota (a wooden hut) to gather around the fire as whitefish cooks in the traditional Kukkola style. Listen to personal stories tied to the river, and share a meal together, telling stories around the fire. Arrive in Rovaniemi, the gateway to Lapland.

7. Rovaniemi

10. Saariselkä - Alta, Norway
